Muslim marries Hindu girl with fake Hindu identity in Odisha : Love Jihad

Amidst the whole the CAA -NRC controversy and violence across the country, widespread resentment has recently erupted in Jajpur district over a Muslim youth’s mischief who has fraudulently married a Hindu girl and acquired assets here by identifying himself as a Hindu. The local police have started investigations into the matter on the basis of the complaint filed by Hindu outfit, Bajrang Dal.

According to sources, the accused youth identified as Suleiman Seikh, son of Abdul Salam of Murshidabad area in neighbouring West Bengal, has been residing at Vyasnagar (Jajpur Road) with allegedly a fake Hindu identity, Bitu Biswas. He changed his father’s name to Abhiram Biswas in the documents he acquired here illegally.

The locals alleged that he married a local Hindu girl and also purchased vehicles by faking address proof and name several in the past too. He bought a Honda Activa scooter (OD 34 K 8646) on instalment by producing fake documents showing him as Bitu Biswas in the Bank here.

On 14 June, 2018, the accused had also purchased a Mahindra Bolero Vehicle (WB 94 F 5851) at Murshidabad by producing his Voter ID Card (HVH2474849) and Adhar Card (987727291967) in which he was mentioned as Suleiman Seikh.

Meanwhile, Suleiman posing himself as Bitu married one Roji Nayak officially through notary and later with Vedic rituala at Bharatmata Bikash Samiti at Bhadrak 12 June,2017. It also came to fore later that he has another wife at Murshidabad whom Bitu had married before tying the knot with the Hindu girl.

The convener of local Bajrang Dal unit, Shusil Kumar Mallick lodged a complaint in this after coming to know about the fraud by Suleiman.

Suleiman alias Bitu who works as civil and labour contractor at Vyasnagar area in Jajpur has been trying to get away with the case through his links with political leaders and others influential persons.

Raising strong objections to the pressure, the states spokesperson of Vishwa Hindu Parishad Chinmaya Kumar Panda and district VHP president Binod Kumar Sharma sought stringent action on the issue immediately.
